Who Is Daniel Pereira?

Here Is Just Some Of My Life Story…

Hello everyone and thank you for taking a moment to learn about my amazing life story (not really, it’s kind of just normal, but at least it’s a little interesting!). Anyway, my name is Daniel Pereira; I just recently learned that my last name tells me that I have Portuguese ancestors. My father was born in Venezuela, so that is supposed to make me Hispanic. The only problem is that my mother is very light skinned. As a result, you have me, a supposed Hispanic kid that looks like any regular white boy.

Despite my lack of looking Hispanic, I actually grew up bilingual. That was pretty cool, but the sad thing is that after around the age of 5 I completely lost the ability to speak Spanish. Growing up in the hills of North Carolina in a trailer, I was not able to speak much Spanish. My mother tells me today that I used to have the strongest little southern accent when I started school. So I guess it was good that I forgot how to speak Spanish, since it would sound really odd to hear someone speaking Spanish with a thick southern accent.

After my parent’s financial struggles started to ease, we moved to the city of Fayetteville, NC and that is where I started middle school. Middle school for me was a bit awkward, I kind of had a few friends and occasionally had a girlfriend for a very short period of time, but at the same time I was a little scared. I was scared that I might get beat up because I wasn’t as cool as the other kinds. Like most kids, I was also worried about my appearance and was scared that people might laugh at me because I thought my clothes weren’t very cool. I now realize how silly I was since I (almost never) got beat up and I do not ever recall someone laughing at me because of my clothes.

By the time I got to 10th grade I finally stopped being scared. I took up the courage to try out for the basketball team and when I didn’t even make it past the first cut, it crushed me. Luckily, I was easily able to regain my confidence with my decision to join the wrestling team. I believe that being able to participate in a different school sport increased my confidence as a person.

By the time I finished in high school, all of my younger siblings were at least in elementary school. Being the oldest made it tough for me and for all of us when I was ready to go off to college. With courage though, I went off to college and was rather pleased with the new amounts of freedom granted to me.

My first 3 semesters at Brigham Young University, I made almost all B’s and C’s in my attempt to make it into the Mechanical Engineering program. At college, I usually didn’t get to bed until around 2:30 in the morning and often times I missed my first class or two.  I also kept on thinking about going out and starting my own business ventures full time, because up until that point I had only done little things with business.  That included starting my own lawn care business for one year, capitalizing on the Pokemon craze when people would pay $20 for one card, and tying balloon animals for tips in restaurants.

After these 3 semesters were finished, it was time for me to make a very important decision in my life, that was if I should serve a religious mission or not for my church. In the end, I accepted a call of service to the Joao Pessoa mission in the northeastern part of Brazil. It was a HUGE learning experience and I am very happy that I made the decision to serve my church and my God. I met lots of interesting people and was able to teach many people about Jesus Christ. I will admit right now that this service was no “walk in the park.” It was very hard and at times I did struggle to the point of tears, but in the end, being able to serve has made me a much happier person.

When I came back to the United States, I was extremely happy to be back! We are a very fortunate nation and have very many opportunities and conveniences that other countries cannot currently provide for their citizens. Shortly after returning I returned back to school where I switched gears. I decided to expand my knowledge of the Portuguese language and started taking Portuguese and Spanish classes in an attempt to become trilingual. While doing this I met the most amazing person you will ever meet, my wife Kristen. She is full of talents and is the smartest most loving mother that I know.

Shortly after our marriage (and a little bit faster than we expected) we had our first child and named him Jace. Since I was still in school, and since we didn’t want to have Kristen work outside the home, we started to really focus more on our financial education and our own businesses.

As you well may already know, still being in college, married, with your first child puts a little bit of a financial strain on you. Kristen and I tried worked very hard though from home with my party planning business (where we did parties and rented out bounce houses).  Along with running that business we started to get heavily involved with online marketing where we became successful extremely fast as eBay entrepreneurs.

Eventually I became more and more obsessed with online marketing and no longer had an interest in my successful party business (which was easily paying the bills while I was finishing up my college education).  I was eventually able to sell my party business, and it was pretty easy in fact.  You see, as an online marketer I was able to completely dominate my local market niche because frankly, the other business owners that own party businesses here in Utah don’t know jack about internet marketing.

At times I would have people rent from us and they would tell me that we were the only party business that they could find online in the area!

There’s just a little more proof to you skeptics out there that this internet marketing stuff really is the real deal.

Anyway, while I was doing a number of great things online, I eventually met my business partner Dan Dimit.  It has been an insane ride since we have met!  Tons of ups and downs.  Tons of work.  But totally work it!  We have been able to work together in an extremely complementary way and have been able to involve ourselves in internet marketing projects that we only dreamed about when we first got started.

The big trick to all of our success was truly just “busting our tails.”  We worked extremely hard to get to the point where we are today, and since there were two of us, I believe we became successful at this internet marketing stuff a little bit faster than most.  So, if you can, go ahead and join up with a trusting partner for your internet marketing journey.  I think it really does help.

Nowadays I continue to work on huge internet marketing projects daily while chilling at home with my wife and two kids (Jace 3, Ellie 1).  The current projects that I am working on include a few big CPA offers, The Billion Dollar Benefit (http://www.bdborg.com), and the Small Business Blitz (http://www.smallbusinessblitz.com).  One of the biggest focuses that Dan Dimit and I have are creating tangible internet marketing products.  You can see a lot of those products at http://www.thefreetrafficformula.com.

I am also currently trying to focus really hard on growing my residual income with Google AdSense and Affiliate Marketing using PPC marketing.  If Dan Dimit and I can get back around to it soon, we are both working towards growing a huge downline in Xango.  You can learn more about that at http://www.billiondollarcompany.info.  Well, I think that’s about it.  As you can see, Dan Dimit and I are almost a bit too busy!  But that is what has made it so that we are successful today. I hope with this blog that you will be inspired to “bust your tail” and be successful to.

To your success!
